Oregon Game Project Challenge (OGPC) is looking for volunteers to help put on its 11th annual Main Event on Saturday, May 12th at Western Oregon University in Monmouth. Last year, over two hundred students on fifty-seven teams participated in the event and providing a great experience to those students requires lots of help.
The biggest need is judges – people who are with any kind of experience developing software, creating art or music, making games, managing projects or working on a team. If you are available, check out the OGPC – Volunteer page for more information. Having lots of judges is a critical part of making sure that every team gets plenty of time to interact with judges while also finishing up at a reasonable hour. There is also a need for speakers, photographers, and general logistical support.
OGPC is a state-wide video game creation competition for middle and high school students in Oregon. Although the OGPC season kicked off with a theme announcement (Connections) and Game Jam in November, there is still plenty of time to participate as a team or coach in this year’s event.
