The FTCOregon facebook page has links to the livestreamed 30 hour robot build by Batteries in Black. They were kinda tired last time I checked.
Raspberry Pi, the very economical DIY computer, has exceeded their own expectations. They have shipped their ten millionth unit, and in celebration will be offering a new kit, soon to be available outside the UK. Cost looks like about $132 plus shipping and tax.
