After spending several decades as a little known superhero, JP Newman has traded in the cape and suit for another hero’s vocation: teaching middle school Language Arts. JP’s students actively use Google Apps, collaborating, creating, and communicating as they explore English Language Arts and their place in the world. In Mr. Newman’s classes, students are encouraged to think and read deeply, ask critical questions, and write to be read. JP has presented at multiple conferences around the region, is a former member of ORVSD, and is a current member of the Southern Oregon Ed Tech Integration Cohort.
