This course is designed for upper elementary through high school educators. In this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn about the development and use of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), will design and build their own ROV, then learn how to successfully create and mentor student teams to compete in the statewide Oregon Regional MATE ROV Competition. Participants will leave with curriculum and additional resources to help them successfully integrate ROVs into their classrooms or after school programs.
