Want to learn more about Exploring Computer Science? Maybe you want to offer the class at your school in the future. Here is your chance to learn more. We will discuss the some of the philosophy behind the original creation of the course, briefly summarize of the units of ECS, and go through some sample lessons and activities from the curriculum. We may also discuss how to add the course at your school. The depth and breadth of the course will depend on the length of the desired course. My goal is to take teachers with little or no experience with ECS and provide them with a base of knowledge, as well as resources. I will provide a broad overview of the curriculum, walk teachers through sample lessons and provide access to lesson plans.
