CS Principles Workshop
CS Principles Workshop

The new AP CS Principles course is designed to be a college level course that focuses on topics in Computer Science beyond programming (although it includes that as well). It is appropriate as both a rigorous first course in CS for students with little to no experience, as well as a course to expose students with programming experience to the breadth of the field.
In this workshop, we will explore the content of the CS Principles course outline, work with curricula for teaching the course (focusing on the Code.org curricula), do deep dives on activities that reinforce key concepts, and disucss what makes for sucessful student portfolio tasks and how to help students succeed on that portfolio portion of the exam.
