OregonASK is working with IBM to recruit fifty 7th and 8th grade girls who are interested in attending a full day workshop of learning and games about Cybersecurity on August 1st. The workshop is free (including lunch), and is a great opportunity to spark a new interest or help girls dive deeper. The workshop is in Gresham and students will need transportation to the event but travel stipends are available.
While the girls are participating in the workshop, there will be a round table/forum for adults about engaging girls in STEM. To apply on behalf of an organization to attend and bring girls: use this form.
If individual girls are interested in participating and will not be applying for a travel stipend, they can use this Link to Register.
