The Connectathon Challenge invites educators to their Student Showcase on May 17th from 5pm-7pm at The Arts & Communications Magnet Academy in Beaverton. At the event, teams of students will be presenting their innovative technology based solutions for improving the lives of people with diabetes.

The Connectathon Challenge: Diabetes is a high-tech hands-on learning experience that brings together high school students with medical and technology professionals, researchers and people who have diabetes.  It began with an education day on March 17th where students were introduced to the challenge and to a suite of technology – including smart body sensors, tablets, and cloud processing – available for use. After working to develop ideas to address the needs to people with diabetes, students are now going to be presenting their work. You can find out more about the event at:
