I’ve taught web design for 10 years and it has been one of my intro classes that tends to attract a broader group of students.  We cover how to design a website (creating storyboards, identifying your audience and purpose), We’ll cover an introduction to HTML5 and CSS and I’ll share assignments I give my students.  Depending on the interest level of the class we can also look at javascript as well as WordPress.  The goal is to provide a solid overview of how to design, develop, and publish a website to someone who is new to web design and programming in general.
