PSU’s math department is offering a course, that may be of interest to math teachers who want to incorporate computing into their mathematics courses:
Topics in Computing for Mathematics Teacher
Topics in Computing for Mathematics Teachers:
June 25 – July 1, 8:00 – 10:15 am, Mon – Thurs.
Topics in pre-calculus, probability, calculus, linear algebra, will be explored through computer programming using C. No computer programming experience is required, although an undergraduate course in programming is desirable. The course is intended to demonstrate how computer programming can help in mathematical problem solving.
