NCCE — the National Council for Computer Education — has its roots in Oregon. They will be in Portland at the Convention Center for the Largest Education Conference in the Pacific Northwest, March 22-24, 2017.
Conference organizers have invited and encouraged OCSTA members to submit presentation proposals — 50 minutes, 2 hours, or exhibitor showcases. Deadline for presentation proposals is September 23! OCSTA will have an exhibit booth.
In addition, OCSTA will be offering a PRE-Conference workshop for AP CS, ExploringCS, and possibly C4C-Counselors for Computing (through Kathy Zetll-Schaffer’s NCWIT connection). We are also brainstorming a pre-convention meet up in some format.
Respectfully submitted,
Jo Oshiro
