Robert Eckstein (Jamie) is a relative newcomer to Sherwood, arriving in 2014 from the Austin, Texas area. When he is not acting or trying to sing above baritone, he works on technical documentation for Oracle, occasionally teaches programming and robotics at Sherwood schools, and serves as a local scout leader.

He is best known for his role of a ranting park keeper in the VPA’s production of “Mary Poppins” in 2015. In his spare time, he has authored a number of computer books, been known to tinker with filmmaking and digital photography, and collects vintage computers and video game consoles.
