No previous experience required. Learn about using MIT’s App Inventor to teach computer programming through engaging projects students can run on Android devices (or on computer based emulators).
We will create a trivia quiz, a painting app, a pong like game and more! In additional to technical training, we will talk about curriculum options and integrating App Inventor into an elementary, middle school or high school course. Teachers from all disciplines will learn how to integrate it into their classes.
Course Instructor/s:
Melissa KesslerMelissa Kessler is the Technology Department Head at Valley Catholic and is a Digital Citizenship Certified Educator. Melissa also works with Saturday Academy teaching programming courses for beginners.
