SuperQuest FAQ

Where can I register? Everywhere I click on the photo, I end up in Wilsonville.

  • Redmond, July 13-15 ** registration live, may get more courses **
  • Pendleton, July 20-22 ** corrected from 20-23; registration live **

  • Southern Oregon, August 16-18 ** registration live **

How long are the classes? Can I register for more than one?

With the exception of code.org, which is 2 days, all courses (as of Friday, June 10) are three days. To register for more than one course, go to more than one site. Many of the courses are offered more than once around the state. To look for a particular course, click here to see the course description, graduate credit status, where it offered, similar courses, instructor bios and contact info.

Where can I find an explanation of Graduate Credit?

For Southern Oregon, right here: superquest_credit_2016.

All other sites get Graduate Credit through Western Oregon University, more info here.

Where can I find out if the class I want to take offers Graduate Credit?

Check the course description here — and note that Graduate Credit may be offered at one site but not at another; each site/course/instructor instance is approved separately.

Where can I find out about the stipend for some teachers?

Due to the conditions of grant funding, only some teachers will qualify. Details here.

Should I bring my laptop?

Yes, please! And don’t forget your charger. A few courses may ask for an iPad or other device. Your instructor will be in touch a week or so before class, so be sure to register so the instructor has your email.

How do I get in touch with an instructor?

Look at the instructor bios on the course descriptions for an email address. Apologies for the ugly page jumps.

How do I get my PDUs?

Once we have your event evaluation, PDUs will be issued electronically to the email you provide on your registration and/or your event evaluation.

Can I get reimbursed for mileage or hotel?

Our grant only covers these costs for faculty and logistics staff. Some venues may have access to other funds, or be making local deals on accommodations, but we do not have visiblity of that.
